Jonathan Fenn

Jon's experience in the field of Reserve Fund Studies and Reserve Planning includes the preparation of studies on residential, commercial, industrial and mixed use condominium developments. His role with the firm since 2012 has included the design and implementation of custom proprietary software at NLD Consulting, which is utilized in all of our reserve fund studies - hundreds of reports to date. Jon is also active in the refinement of the reserve funding models, and works with condo boards and management to determine their best funding path while considering their reserve fund “ideal balance”.

Jon is the Manitoba based Director for our Winnipeg offices, and is available for any questions with respect to the process of undertaking either your first reserve fund study, or a five year study update.

Michael’s experience in the field of Real Estate Consulting since 1989 includes residential strata development, construction, and strata renovation in BC, preparation of reserve fund studies and depreciation reports throughout BC, construction costing and valuation specific to strata developments in BC, as well as experience at the Board level on strata budgeting on various strata councils. Michael completes and reviews Depreciation Reports and Reserve Fund Studies throughout BC using the REIC Functional Reserve Fund Format, and additionally follows the standards of the world’s trade organization for reserve study professionals, the Association of Professional Reserve Analysts (APRA). Michael has provided Depreciation Reports and Replacement Cost Appraisals for many of the most prominent residential/mixed use towers in the province, as well as low rise and townhome strata residential developments and commercial/industrial developments throughout BC. Michael has served on the Board of Directors for the Vancouver Chapter, Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) beginning in 2013, and is the Chapter Past President from 2015/2016, and REIC-BC incoming President for 2022/23.

Terry has been involved in the Real Estate Consulting industry in the Metro Vancouver and Fraser Valley regions since 1989. His experience includes residential strata development, construction, and strata renovation in BC, preparation of reserve fund studies and depreciation reports throughout BC, as well as experience at the Board level. Terry completes and reviews Depreciation Reports and Reserve Fund Studies throughout BC using the REIC Functional Reserve Fund Format, and is corporately a member of the Association of Professional Reserve Analysts (APRA). Terry has provided Depreciation Reports and Replacement Cost Appraisals for many of the most prominent residential/mixed use towers in the province, as well as low rise and townhome strata residential developments and commercial/industrial developments throughout BC. Terry has served on the Executive for the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) Vancouver Chapter, was the 2020 President for the BC Provincial Association of the AIC, and is a 2021/2022 Member of the AIC National Board of Directors.

Doug has been involved in the Real Estate Consulting industry since 1989. His experience includes residential condo/strata development, construction, and renovation, as well as experience at the Board level on various boards/councils. Doug completes and reviews Depreciation Reports and Reserve Fund Studies using the REIC Functional Reserve Fund Format, and he provides Replacement Cost Appraisals for condo/strata corporations. His reserve fund planning and replacement cost appraisal experience includes reports conducted on many of the most prominent residential/mixed use towers in Canada, as well as low rise and townhome condo/strata residential developments and commercial/industrial developments.
